Is  a curriculum - based program designed for 13-17 year olds who are beginning to experiment with alcohol and other drugs, or who have begun to experience problems related to alcohol and drug use.

Many young people are experimenting with drugs and alcohol.  Over 60% of seniors in Central Texas high schools have had a drink in the last month.  For some kids, this is only experimentation, but for others it can become a life threatening addiction.  Central Texas Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse offers a 12-14 week education and counseling group for young people who may be experiencing problems related to alcohol or drug use. There are also individual screening, assessment, referral, and family services available.  Please call Prevention Manager at 254-690-4455 for more information or to set up a group in your community or school, detention center or organization offices.
